Bookplate to the front paste down and previous owner's ink stamps to the verso of the frontispiece, the final page of ads, and the bottom edge. Small open tear to the frontis guard-sheet. This book was issued separately, but forms part of volume 2 of Sir Edward Belcher's "Narrative of the Voyage of the H.M.S. Samarang, 1843-46".
