Sm 4to (8 1/2" x 11"), 144p. + 74 figures (maps, drawings, photos, diagrams, etc- many folding), black flexible leather with gilt map of SF Bay showing 2 alternate proposed crossings. Stamped near bottom with name of Stanford Prof. to whom this was presented by Chief Engineer, Ralph Tudor. Massive, detailed eng report on the possibilities of a parallel bridge to the SF Bay Bridge (finally under const.) and a southern route never built. This leather ed probably only for pres. copies- o/w paper wraps.
Some wear & chipping at extrm. of covers, small water spot on 1st 4 leaves. O/W clean & nice. A very good copy.
