Aside from captions, there is no additional text. Pugin (1812- 1852) was one of the foremost British architects of the 19th century and one with a passion for Gothic ornament as exemplified in these marvelous engravings. Moderate overall wear to covers, binding weakening a bit but still sound. Almost no foxing- colors are still bright and the engravings are nearly as clean and sharp as when printed. A very good copy.
