Motorship [Magazine], 1923. 4to, 60p. + 3 bound-in blueprint sheets, colored pictorial stiff wrappers with sewn cloth spine. Special publication of the Falk Corporation of Milwaukee announcing a new motorship engine design involving the coupling of four 550hp diesel engines with a new gear reduction mechanism and a Bibby coupler to make it all work. Marvelously illustrated with photos & diagrams (cutting 16' gears!) and showing the whole process from steel mill to indicator diagrams. Ex-Library of Congress with only two small stamps, covers worn and soiled and lacking about 2" of top rear corner. Still totally sound, however and internally quite clean. A good copy of an unusual offering.
