Written within the first ten years of powered flight, a particularly well-written & illustrated (278 illustrations, many of which are photos) treatise on flying at that time. Both the achievements & triumphs and the disasters are examined- seemingly, both an exciting and dangerous time to be involved with such matters.
Moderate wear & soiling to covers- spine somewhat darkened and some staining to rear cover. Internally, new endpapers have been fitted and contents are totally clean and sound. A very good copy.
