Brewster's second and by far most complete effort at a biography of Newton, utilizing resources he didn't have in the first attempt in 1933. A must for any worthy collection in the history of science & mathematics. Covers frayed & chipped at extremities of spine. Two sets of owner's names- the second on front endpapers and the first on title pages. Unfortunately, the first were lined through by the second (remarkably poor taste!).
