Three owners's names (one upside-down on front pastedown) and a bookseller's label. Rear endpaper reworked & hinge reinforced. While generally clean & unsullied, despite our best efforts there probably remain a few instances of pencilled marginalia or underlining (the last owner, while buying marvellous books, seems to have been unable to read without a pencil in hand- Grrr).
