Cambridge, Cambridge University Press, 1930, 1st edition. Lge 8vo, xxix 468, xi 520p., blue cloth with gilt titles in grey dustwrappers. Nearly the last of the major titles by the enormously distinguished but still contraversial British mathematician. Leonard Roth describes this as "Treated from the eighteenth century point of view" About as nice a set as you'll see- a few tiny spots on back cover of v1, lower corners bumped on v2: o/w nearly immaculate- no names or other writing. Printed dws unusual in 1930 & much more so to have survived. Price clipped (by publisher?), browning with age & showing a few signs of wear but still quite presentable. A very good+ set.
