Volumes 3 and 4 are combined and all 3 volumes have sewn-in bookmarks. Julia (1873- 1978) worked with fractals and chaos and his work including the Julia set has been popularized by Benoit Mandelbrot. Very handsome in modern bindings- no apparent wear at all. A near-fine set.
