Elementary Lessons in Electricity and Magnetism, New Edition Revised Throughout With Additions

8vo, xv 638p., burgundy cloth with gilt lettering. A great deal of bibliographic confusion surrounds this title- editions & printings were not well distinguished at that time. We've seen a "4th ed" of this from 1883. There was also a "Stereotyped" ed and Thompson also published the title under his own imprint. As nearly as we can understand it, the 1st ed. was 1881 & hedid a major enlargement/revision in 1894. This copy is a later printing (1910) of the 1894 (2d?) edition.
Except for owner's handsome bookmark (MIT class of 1914), remarkably clean and little-used. Tiny blemish on foredge, o/w living-room cond- VG+.
