8vo, xiv 211p + 32p pub cat, brown cloth with gilt spine lettering & blindstamped front cover. New York, D. Van Nostrand Co., 1916, 1st American Edition. Early work combining physics and chemistry, translated from the 4th revised edition of "Les Atomes". Professor Perrin won the Nobel Prize for his work in this area in 1926.
From the famous Franklin Institute Library in Philadelphia with removed spine label but retaining pictorial donor's bookplate and handwritten accession and checkout cards. Perforated library name on tp. Spine a bit darkened, minor wear at extremities of covers. Internally quite clean and sound. A very good copy.
