Massive compilation on fossil palms by the Yale paleontologist and Associate of the Carnegie Inst. Wieland (1865-1953) was a prolific author and fossil hunter- involved with expeditions to the American west, Mexico and South America. A set of this belongs on every cycad lover's coffee table! Scarce, especially as a full set.
Ex university library shows very little wear. Vol # written on 1st tp, minor staining on 2d. Overall, very good copy.
