Some foxing to the paste downs and endpapers. Text pages are clean and bright. Binding is good. Boards are good. Some fading to the boards at the head and tail. DJ is poor due to several chips and tears at the extremities and sunning to the spine. The 13 plates consist of pencil drawings made by Hopkins between 1862 and 1889.
