Cambridge: Printed at the Riverside Press, 1891-1896. 16 vols., Large Paper Edition no.114 of 275. Full blue morocco with ornate gilt cover and spine panel design. Inner covers also full morocco w/ red morocco inlaid and gilt rule. Recto of front feps are mounted with red silk moire as are verso of rear feps. Frontis in each along with numerous plates tipped in. Holmes ALS tipped in to front of vol.1 and 15. All joints rubbed and worn but bindings solid. Spines darkened. Some offsetting from plates. BAL9033 cites vol.1-14 as complete (v.14 with 1892c.). BAL9060 cites vol.15&16 as separate set (Life and Letters, Ltd ed. 1896c.) All volumes uniformly and beautifully bound and numbered.
