Duodecimo, 12x17cm. 198pp. First edition, second printing, as per BAL 3310: without the advertisements leaf and with broken type on pages 66 & 198. Original pictorial green cloth, front board and spine stamped in gilt, rear board stamped in blind. No dust jacket.
Cloth rubbed and soiled. Spine cocked. Heavy wear at the corners and spine ends. Front free endpaper partly adhered to the paste down. Flyleaf foxed, stained, and thumbed, with an old name in ink. Rear hinge starting, and the gutter exposed just before the rear free endpaper. Fair condition. The author's first book.
