First edition, inscribed and signed by Clayton Rawson on the front free endpaper. Original red cloth, front board and spine stamped in black. In an unclipped dust jacket.
Cloth worn along the head and tail, particularly at the corners and spine ends. Front free endpaper with a bookplate below the inscription and evidence of a removed bookplate above the inscription. The dust jacket has been "protected" with clear contact paper, now a bit toned, and both flaps have been glued down to the pastedowns. Thus, only a fair copy in a fair dust jacket. beh
