Second edition in green publishers cloth with boards stamped in blind and spine stamp in gilt. Skillfully rebacked retaining original backstrip and endpapers. Boards are rubbed with corners bumped through. Pages are foxed with occasional toning at the margins. Fold-out plates in both volumes are very good with light foxing and toning at the edges. Large fold-out map in volume 1 is chipped and worn at the edges with heavy wear on the fold creases (including closed tears and tape repairs). A very good copy. jjt.
