Some captions to plates shaved, some offsetting from plates. Several plates dampstained at lower left corner, 3" tear to "Chart of Discoveries" at crease. Page 185 of Vol. 1 is repaired, affecting text; repairs to pages 51-54 of Vol. 2, also affecting text. Marginal worming in Vol. 2 from prelims to page 24; marginal worming to the plates "A View in the Island of Rotterdam" and "Boats of the Friendly Isles."
Lacking the plate "Sketches of Four Islands" in Vol. 2.
