Contemporary full calf, spines with raised bands, gilt tooling, and morocco labels. Marbled endpapers. Engraved portrait frontispiece in volume 1. Half titles and errata leaf present. Housed in a custom cloth chemise inside a matching cloth slipcase backed in morocco. Boards rubbed and marked; rear board of volume 2 stained. Corners and spine ends worn, corners bumped.
