Original cardboard box with a printed paper label on the lid; contains an introductory pamphlet along with an accordion-style book, cloth-bound, with printed and pictorial paper labels mounted on the front board. The accordion-style book contains a full-sized reproduction of the first of the four 12th-Century Japanese picture scrolls, dealing with caricatures of animals.
The book and pamphlet are both in near fine condition. The box is rubbed and somewhat worn, and is coming apart at the corners.
