With numerous illustrations in black & white as well as 20 color plates. Also with a color folding map and a folding photographic plate. Externally bright with only light wear to the boards and spines. Joints rubbed. Volume 1 shaken front hinge cracked and cracked in the middle with a signature starting to loosen. Volume 2 likewise cracked in the middle of the text block but not as badly. Internally clean. Good condition. OCLC: 7827071 beh/BH4
